Computer Technology and Applications

Analysis and Design of Information Systems (ADIS)

The growth of complex information technology issues in today's organizations has created the need for personnel who can work with users to provide the automated solutions that can improve business performance.

Today's enterprises need to integrate data, applications, electronic commerce, and IT personnel in such a way that they become an essential part of the organization's strategic direction.

There is an ongoing demand for the kinds of personnel who can administer and manage complex installations and processes with elegance and efficiency.

The ADIS track prepares students for this arena by providing them with the necessary technical and management education necessary to meet these challenges.

ADIS is recommended for those seeking specialized training in applying computer technology to the process of business decisionmaking. The program is geared toward individuals such as managers, network administrators, consultants, analysts, database designers, and information specialists who are interested in managing and designing information systems.
