The Admissions and Student Affairs Office

Office hours: Monday-Thursday, 9 a.m.-7 p.m.; Friday, 9 a.m.-5 p.m.

The Admissions and Student Affairs Office is available to assist you while you are a Continuing Education and Special Programs student. Its principal function is to provide:

  • admissions and academic counseling

  • advice on program planning and course selection

  • referral services

The Associate Dean and a staff of counselors are glad to help you locate other available resources, depending on your needs and situation.

The Admissions and Student Affairs Office regularly disseminates important information to students in Continuing Education and Special Programs via their Columbia University e-mail addresses. See Computing Services for information on how to create an e-mail account.

If you wish to discuss psychological problems, you may consult with a counselor in:

Counseling and Psychological Services
8th Floor Alfred Lerner Hall
(212) 854-2468

All visits are confidential.
