Tuition and Fees

Tuition and fees are subject to change at any time at the discretion of the Trustees.

These fees do not include the costs of textbooks and supplemental instructional materials.

Students are required to pay their tuition at the time of registration. Failure to do so may result in an initial late payment charge of $150 and subsequent late payment charges of one percent of the outstanding balance each time a student account statement is issued.

Tuition for summer 2001–spring 2002, per course: $1,760

Computer laboratory fee, per term: $25

University facilities fee (per term-required): $35

Application fee (one-time payment-required): $35

Transcript fee (one-time payment-required): $45

Depending on their individual situations, students may also be required to pay the following fees:

  1. Withdrawal fee (incurred for each student who chooses to withdraw once registered, even if withdrawal takes place during the registration period) $75

  2. Late registration fees (see calendar for dates and deadlines)

    After late registration $100

  3. International services fee (per term; required of all international students, except those in the AITM or CTA programs): $50

  4. Health service fee (required of all full-time students; includes limited sickness and accident coverage):
    Fall 2000 (September 1, 2000–January 15, 2001) $224
    Spring 2001 (January 16–May 31, 2001) $224
    Summer 2001 (June 1–August 31, 2001) $120

    Dependent Coverage

    Eligible students who enroll in the medical insurance plan may enroll their eligible dependents in the Basic Plan.

    Eligible dependents include:

    • The insured student’s lawful spouse/same-sex partner residing with the student;

    • The insured student’s unmarried children (including stepchildren and foster children) under the age of 19.

    Information and enrollment forms for dependents will be available after July 1, 2000, at Health Services or through Chickering Claims Administrators, Inc., (800) 859-8471.
