The Special Students Program

Cross-Enrollment Students from Juilliard and the Union Theological Seminary

Students at institutions with which Columbia has formal cross-enrollment arrangements--e.g., the Juilliard School and Union Theological Seminary--need not apply for admission to the Special Students Program. These students must, however, secure written permission from their home school registrar for cross-enrollment and present it to an adviser in the Admissions and Student Affairs Office during registration.

All students be advised that Columbia's School of General Studies will not accept the transfer of more than 15 points of credit towards the B.A. or B.S. for work completed as a nondegree student at Columbia.
