Altering an index

Use the Alter window to create or change a comment about an index. You can change only the Comment field in this window; the other fields are unavailable.

Before you begin...

To alter the comment for an index:

1. Open the Alter window.

2. In the Comment field, document the index that you selected.

3. Click on OK to alter the index.
