Configure Instance -- Overview

Use the Configure Instance notebook to view and change the current values for the instance (database manager) configuration parameters.

Changes to instance configuration parameters will not take effect until the instance is stopped and restarted, but the Configure Instance notebook shows the updated configuration parameters as soon as you make changes to them.

Note:

In the Control Center the term instance means the same thing as database manager instance.
