Business Careers Initiative

Requirements

Admission to the BCI requires:

1. a cumulative average of 3.0 or better
2. a determination by the Admissions Committee that the program will help the applicant achieve his or her stated goals.

BCI students are admitted as Special Students.

Successful completion of the BCI requires:

• completion with a grade of B- or better of at least four credit, business-related courses (12-14 points)

Normally, students should take at least one course each in:

• business
• economics
• mathematics or statistics

Those who have already completed an equivalent course may substitute a more advanced course in:

• mathematics
• statistics
• computer science
• economics

Students planning to apply to graduate schools of business are advised that calculus is usually a requirement.
