SERIES SEARCHING: CLASSIFICATION: SET RECORD PRESENT IN CLIO

Choose one of the following options, as appropriate:

  1. If the set is classed together (i.e. the set record has a call number) for any location, route the item to the contin adder in MPB. Example If there is a note on the T2 requesting separate classification for the item in hand, route to MPB for adding anyway, provided that it is for the same location as on the CHLD as a set.

  2. If the set has been ordered (for any location) but not yet cataloged, search for monographic copy and process the item according to standard procedures. Go to to procedures for evaluating cataloging copy
