Granting and revoking view privileges for users

Use the User page of the view Privileges notebook to grant privileges on a selected view to users, and to revoke privileges that users hold on this view. In addition, you can provide and withdraw the Grant option (the right to grant a privilege to other users and to groups).

Before you begin...

To grant or revoke view privileges for users:

1. Open the view Privileges notebook.

2. If you are not already on the User page, click on the User tab. The User page opens. The User box displays the authorization names of users that hold one or more privileges on the selected view.

3. If you plan to grant privileges on the selected view to other users, add these users to the User box.

4. Manage privileges by performing one or more of the following actions:

   • Grant all privileges; provide the Grant option.

   • Revoke all privileges.

   • Manage privileges individually.

5. Optional: Grant privileges on the selected view to groups, or revoke groups' privileges on this view.

6. Click on Close to close the view Privileges notebook.
