Granting and revoking view privileges for groups

Use the Group page of the view Privileges notebook to grant privileges on a selected view to groups, and to revoke privileges that groups hold on this view. In addition, you can provide and withhold the Grant option (the right to grant a privilege to users and other groups).

Before you begin...

To grant or revoke view privileges for groups:

1. Open the view Privileges notebook.

2. Open the Group page by clicking on the Group tab. The Group box displays the authorization names of groups that hold one or more privileges on the selected view.

3. If you plan to grant privileges on the selected view to other groups, add these groups to the Group box.

4. Manage privileges by performing one or more of the following actions:

   • Grant all privileges; provide the Grant option.

   • Revoke all privileges.

   • Manage privileges individually.

5. Optional: Grant privileges on the selected view to users, or revoke users' privileges on this view.

6. Click on Close to close the view Privileges notebook.
