Backing up a database using a SmartGuide

Use the Backup Database SmartGuide to create a backup plan.

Before you begin...

To backup the database:

1. Open the Backup Database SmartGuide

2. Optional: State when the database is in use.

3. Optional: Select the type of protection that is necessary.

4. Optional: Specify the rate of change of the database.

5. Verify the recommendations.

6. Specify a location for the backup image.

7. Select Done to create the backup database plan.
