Before you create a backup plan:
- You must have SYSADM, SYSCTRL, or SYSMAINT authority.
- If you change a database configuration file to enable roll-forward
recovery (using either LOGRETAIN or USEREXIT), you must take an offline backup
of the database before it is usable.
