Rolling forward a table space partition

If you restore a table space partition, it is always in the roll-forward pending state when the restore operation completes. It is not available for use until it is removed from this state.

Before you begin...

To roll forward a table space partition:

1. Open the Table Space Partitions window.

2. Select the table space partition that you want.

3. Select Table Space Partitions->Roll-forward.

   The Roll-Forward Table Space Partition notebook opens. Press F1 or click on the Help push button for instructions on how to use this window.
