Introduction to American Business Writing: Intermediate Part I
For non-native English speakers wishing to improve basic American business
writing skills and knowledge of American culture.
- You play the role of an advertising executive trying to win a new client
by impressing them with a great ad campaign.
- Your job requires that you understand and respond to several forms of communication
from your co-workers and the client.
Intermediate students generally have TOEFL scores in the 150173 range
or TOEIC scores in the 550650 range. Students at this level have a basic
knowledge of English and can communicate their ideas using simple vocabulary
and grammatical forms.
Introduction to American Business Writing: High-Intermediate Part I
For non-native English speakers who already have some American business writing
skills.
- You play the role of a sales executive selling e-commerce solutions to
a prospective client.
- Your job requires that you understand and respond to several forms of communication
from your co-workers and the client.
High-intermediate students generally have TOEFL scores in the 173193
range or TOEIC scores in the 650700 range. These students can communicate
in English with some degree of grammatical accuracy but still make mistakes
in grammar and phrasing that may affect their ability to communicate effectively.
