PROCEDURES

1. Catalog CDs, DVDs, etc. according to standard cataloging procedures.

2. Input appropriate format type, e.g., |k CD-ROM, as the first element of the call number.

3. If the CD is for a networked resource see CPM850

4. If the CD is to be used in a restricted area, use appropriate location, e.g., asx, bus,elec. The item type for restricted locations is non-circ.

5. Code any use restrictions in a public note in 852 $z.
