Dropping a view

Use the Confirmation window to confirm that you want to delete the view or views selected in the Drop box.

When a view is deleted, its description is deleted from the catalog and any objects that are directly or indirectly dependent on the view become inoperative. Packages, other views, and triggers can depend upon views.

Before you begin...

To drop a view:

1. Open the Confirmation window.

2. To delete the view or views you selected in the Drop box, click on OK. If not, click on Cancel.
