Altering a view

Use the Alter View window to change the comment for a view or see the SQL statement that was used to create the view. The Comment box is the only active field. After a view is defined, only the comment can be changed. To change the view definition, you must drop the view and recreate it.

Before you begin...

To alter a comment for view:

1. Open the Alter View window.

2. Type a comment in the Comment box or modify an existing comment.

3. Click on OK to begin processing.
