Granting table privileges to a new group

Use the Table page of the Add Group notebook to grant privileges on tables in a database to a new group of users of this database.

Before you begin...

To grant table privileges:

1. Open the Add Group notebook.

2. Open to the Table page by clicking on the page's tab.

3. List the tables on which you want to grant privileges.

4. Specify the privileges that you want to grant. You can grant all privileges at the same time, or you can grant them individually.

5. If you didn't specify the authorization name of the group to which you're granting table privileges, you must:

   1. Open to the Database page by clicking on the page's tab.

   2. Use the Group box to specify the authorization name.

6. Click on Apply. The privileges are granted.

7. Optional: Grant one or more of the following types of authorizations, in any order:
   • Database authorities
   • Schema privileges
   • Index privileges
   • View privileges

8. Click on Close to close the Add Group notebook.
