Changing column attributes with the Location method

Use the Change window to change the values of the column selected in the Table column box on the Columns page.

To change import column values:

1. Select the Include column in table import check box, if necessary, to specify that data will be imported into the column displayed in the Table column field.

   You cannot change the value in the Table column field because you cannot change the column name in the target table.

2. Type the starting column location number of the data column in the input file into the Start position field.

3. Type the ending column location number of the data column in the input file into the End position field.

4. Type the column location of the null indicator column in the input file into the Null indicator field.

5. Click on OK to accept the changes and return to the Columns page.
