Scheduling a saved command script

You can use the Script Center window to select a saved command script, and then the Schedule window to schedule the script to run either as a single job or as a recurring job. After you specify a schedule, a job entry is created in the Pending jobs view in the Journal notebook.

To schedule a job based on a saved command script:

  1. Open the Script Center window.

  2. Select an entry from the System name box.

  3. Select the script that you want to schedule.

  4. Click mouse button 2 on the script and select Schedule from the pop-up menu. The Schedule window opens.
