Changing the default userid and password for the Control Center

Use the Set/Reset Default userid window to change the default userid and password shown in the Control Center title bar. This information will be used to validate access to all database objects, unless you explicitly change the userid and password for a database, instance or system.

Before you begin...

To change the default userid and password:

1. Open the Control Center Sign-on window.

2. In the User Id field, type the user identifier.

3. In the Password field, type the password for the user identifier.

4. Click on OK to change the default userid and password.
