Use the Performance Configuration SmartGuide to create
multiple script files for different workloads.
Before you begin...
To configure the database:
- Open the Performance Configuration SmartGuide
- Enter the information for the first workload.
- Verify the recommendations.
- Clear the Apply now check box.
- Select the Save to the Script Center check box.
- Specify a script description and script name.
- Select Done to save the script
file.
- Open the Performance Configuration SmartGuide
- Enter the information for the second workload.
- Verify the recommendations.
- Clear the Apply now check box.
- Specify a different name and location for the second script file.
- Select Done to save the second
script file.
- Run the first script file before the database is running with the first
workload.
- Run the second script file before the database is running with the second
workload.
