To configure the database:

  1. Open the Performance Configuration SmartGuide

  2. Enter the information for the first workload.

  3. Verify the recommendations.

  4. Clear the Apply now check box.

  5. Select the Save to the Script Center check box.

  6. Specify a script description and script name.

  7. Select Done to save the script file.

  8. Open the Performance Configuration SmartGuide

  9. Enter the information for the second workload.

  10. Verify the recommendations.

  11. Clear the Apply now check box.

  12. Specify a different name and location for the second script file.

  13. Select Done to save the second script file.

  14. Run the first script file before the database is running with the first workload.

  15. Run the second script file before the database is running with the second workload.
