Altering an alias

Use the Alter Alias window to add, change, or delete a comment on an alias for a table or view.

Attention: You cannot change the alias itself. However, you can create a new one and use it in place of the old one. Optionally, you can also drop the old one.

Before you begin...

To add, change, or delete a comment on an alias:

1. Open the Alter Alias window.

2. Fill in, update, or clear the Comment field.

3. Click on OK to commit your change.
