Cloning a subscription

Use the Clone window to create an identical new subscription based on the definitions of an existing subscription.

Before you begin...

To clone a subscription:

1. Open the Clone window.

2. Specify a new Apply qualifier in the Apply qualifier field.

3. Select the new target server in the Target server field.

4. Click on OK to clone the subscription. At the Run Now or Save SQL window, you can choose to run your SQL request now or run it later.

5. Refresh and verify your object.

   After verifying your object, remember to start the Apply program from your command line processor using your subscription's Apply qualifier. See the Replication Guide and Reference for more information.
