If you restore a database
partition and the back-up image that you use was taken when the database
partition was enabled for forward recovery, the database partition is in the
roll-forward pending state when the restore
operation completes. It is not available for use until it is removed
from this state.
Before you begin...
To roll forward a database partition:
- Open the Database Partitions window.
- Select the database partition that you want.
- Select Database Partitions->Roll-forward.
The Roll-Forward Database Partition notebook opens. Press F1 or
click on the Help push button for instructions on how to use this
window.
