Special Materials & Procedures

BACKGROUND

The following locations represent materials housed in non-circulating research reading rooms on the 5th and 6th floors of Butler Library. The chart below describes the location codes, spine labels and OPAC display for the items selected for the reading rooms.

When no standard copy is available books designated for these locations should be routed to OSMC for original cataloging, they are excluded from Precat processing.

If non-print material or mixed media is selected for a reading room, consult a supervisor.
