VERIFYING OR VIEWING A CHARGE TO A STATUS PATRON

Item Record Procedures

BACKGROUND:

The item status icon in the item record in the cataloging module will tell you that an item is charged but will not tell which status patron was used. Specific information about charges to status patrons must be accessed through the circulation module.
  1. Go to the circ module.

  2. Click on the Item icon (stacked books)

  3. Type or scan in the barcode at the search by item barcode prompt.

  4. In the top right side of the screen click on the Charged To (little man) icon next to the quill pen icon.

  5. The patron barcode field contains the status patron id, e.g., OSMCBIND01.
