2. Code appropriate Literary Form in the fixed field.

3. Code a 500 note on artistic form (2.7B1) using the special applications outlined in the corresponding LCRI.

4. Code 586 (Awards note) if information about a notable award is readily available.

   Example: 586 Caldecott Medal, 1979.

5. All names and series must be supported by authority records.

6. In most cases, establish the author number as part of creating a NACO record for the author.
