Definition: Modern political name; fourth of four place-defining elements.
Comment: In English (unless your soul entirely rebels: "Rome" is probably acceptable to most of us; that might not be true of "Leghorn" in which case use "Livorno"; when uncertain, ask which form users of the online database might be more likely to know). If not the city's name, but its very origin is question, use a question mark.
