Manuscript Level: Physical Issues
Definition: Notice of a physical feature of the item that is immediately apparent to the viewer, such as the presence of seals if the item is an archival document; that it is in roll or other non-codex format; that it is an incunable or other printed book.
Comment: Don't confuse the Physical Issues field with the field for the Status of the Text (in tblTexts), or use this field for comments about the manuscript's condition, which are placed more appropriately in the Notes field of this same Manuscript Level.
