The schema is SYSFUN.

Returns the absolute value of the argument.

The argument can be of any built-in numeric data type. If it is of type DECIMAL or REAL, it is converted to a double-precision floating-point number for processing by the function.

The result of the function is:

The result can be null; if the argument is null, the result is the null value.
