Use the Operator Details window to view details for an operator that is selected in the Access Plan Graph
window.

Before you begin...

To view operator details:
- Open the Operator Details window.
- To view detailed information in the window, select the Full
radio button. To view less detailed information, select the
Overview radio button.
- Click on the following for more details about the type of information that
is shown in each section of the window:
- Cumulative Costs
- Various costs that are associated with the operator.
- Cumulative Properties
- Properties of tables and columns that are accessed by the operator.
- Input arguments
- Arguments that affect the behavior of the operator. The details
vary depending on the type of operator and the level of detail chosen.

- FETCH
- FILTER
- GRPBY
- HSJOIN
- INSERT
- IXSCAN
- MSJOIN
- NLJOIN
- RIDSCN
- SORT
- TBSCAN
- TEMP
- TQUEUE
- UNIQUE
- UPDATE

To display the database
partitions that have been accessed thus far for an operator that is selected in the access plan, click
on the Database Partitions push button.
- To save the contents of the window to a file, click on the Save As push button.
- To print the contents of the window, click on the Print push button.
Note:
- The operators RETURN, IXAND, and UNION
have no input arguments.
- Table names might be a derived table, or a common subexpression.
- To change the contents of the window to overview or full, select the
Level of Detail radio button.
