Use the Advanced window that is available from the alter
window to change performance parameters for an existing table space or table
space partition.

Before you begin...

To change performance parameters for a table space or table space
partition:
- Open the alter window:
- Click on the Advanced push button. The Advanced window
opens.
- You can do one or more of the following tasks:
- In the Page size field, specify the size
of the pages to be used for the table space. The valid values are 4KB
and 8KB.
- In the Prefetch size field, specify the
number of pages to be read from the table space or table space partition when
data prefetching is being performed.
- In the Overhead field, specify the number
of milliseconds you want to use during query optimization as the amount of I/O
controller overhead.
- In the Transfer field, specify the number
of milliseconds to be used to read one page into memory.
- In the Buffer pool field, specify the
name of the buffer pool that this table space or table space partition should
reside in.
- Click on the OK push button to return to the alter
window.
