Granting and revoking the CONTROL privilege on indexes

Use the Index page of the Change User notebook to grant or revoke the CONTROL privilege on indexes.

Before you begin...

To grant or revoke the CONTROL privilege on indexes:

1. Open the Change User notebook.

2. Open to the Index page by clicking on the page's tab.

3. Perform one or both of the following operations:

   • Grant the CONTROL privilege on an index.

   • Revoke the CONTROL privilege on an index.

4. Optional: Grant and revoke one or more of the following kinds of authorizations, in any order:
   • Database authorities
   • Schema privileges
   • Table privileges
   • View privileges

5. Click on Close to close the Change User notebook.
