Performing a simple restore

Use the Backup Image page of the restore notebook to specify the backup image that you want to use to restore the table space or table space partition.
Note: Graphic denoting partitioned database environments appears here. In a partitioned database environment, you restore at the table space partition level.

To restore the table space or table space partition without any options:

  1. Open the restore notebook:

  2. On the Backup Image page, specify the backup image that you want to perform the restore:

  3. Click on OK to begin the restore operation.

After the table space or table space partition is restored, it will be in the roll-forward pending state. To make it usable, use the Roll-Forward Table Space notebook.
