Use the General page of the Tools Settings notebook to request diagnostic
information as directed by DB2 Customer Service.
Attention: Only use the diagnostic facility when directed
by DB2 Customer Service or by a technical support representative to do
so.

To obtain DB2 diagnostic information:
- Open the General page of the Tools Settings
notebook.
- To save DB2 diagnostic information in the DB2 trace log, select the
Add tools tracing to DB2 Trace check box.
- To see diagnostic information, use the DB2 Trace facility. For more
information about the DB2 trace facility (the db2trc command),
see
the Command Reference.
- Close the Tools Settings notebook by double-clicking in the upper left
corner of the notebook.
