Granting and revoking table privileges for groups

Use the Group page of the table Privileges notebook to grant privileges on a selected table to groups, and to revoke privileges that groups hold on this table. In addition, you can provide and withdraw the Grant option (the right to grant a privilege to users and other groups).

Before you begin...

To grant or revoke table privileges for groups:

1. Open the table Privileges notebook.

2. Open to the Group page by clicking on the Group tab. The Group box displays the authorization names of groups that hold one or more privileges on the selected table.

3. If you plan to grant privileges on the selected table to other groups, add these groups to the Group box.

4. Manage privileges by performing one or more of the following actions:

   • Grant all privileges; provide the Grant option.

   • Revoke all privileges.

   • Manage privileges individually.

5. Optional: Grant privileges on the selected table to users, or revoke users' privileges on this table.

6. Click on Close to close the table Privileges notebook.
