Dropping or removing an object

Use the Confirmation window to confirm that you want to drop or remove the objects selected in the box.

Removing a cataloged object (such as, a database or instance) uncatalogs it.

Dropping an object deletes its contents and, if it is a cataloged object, uncatalogs it.

Any objects that are directly or indirectly dependent on an object you drop or remove are either deleted or become inaccessible, and all references to them are invalidated.
