Use the Containers page of the restore notebook to specify that you want to modify containers during the restore operation.
| Note: |
In a partitioned database environment, you restore at the
database partition level.
|
To modify containers:
If you have already created a backup image of the database or database partition from this administrative client, Select an entry from the list is preselected because the recovery history file for the database or database partition indicates that a backup image is available.
If you know that the media type that is displayed for the backup image is not correct, then use the fields that are displayed under Change the media information if necessary to specify the correct media type for the backup image.
If you have not already created a backup image of the database or database partition from this administrative client, Manually enter the backup image information is preselected because the recovery history file for the database or database partition does not contain any backup history.
| Note: |
In a partitioned database environment, if you want to create a
new container or change the path of an existing container, the path must exist
at each node where the container will be stored.
