Use the Roll-Forward page of the Restore Database to New notebook to specify that you want to perform roll-forward recovery on the database as part of the restore database operation.
| Note: | You must have the database logs to perform roll-forward recovery, and the backup image that you use to restore the database must have been made when the source database for the backup image was enabled for forward recovery (that is, either the logretain or the userexit parameter, or both, was set on when the backup image was created). |
