Creating a table

Use the Create Table notebook to create a table.

The Create Table notebook is for defining a table. If you want to create a table and populate it with an input file, use the Import function instead.

To create a table:

  1. Open the Create Table notebook.

  2. Define the table properties.

  3. Add the columns.

  4. Optional: Define the primary key.

  5. Graphic denoting partitioned database environments appears here.Optional: Define the partitioning key.

  6. Optional: Add the foreign keys.

  7. Optional: Add the check constraints.
