Logs

Use the Logs page of the Configure Database notebook to view and change the configuration parameters that affect the size and characteristics of log files. Parameters that affect log files are:

• Size of Log Files (logfilsiz)
• Number of Primary Log Files (logprimary)
• Number of Secondary Log Files (logsecond)
• Location of Log Files (logpath)
• Change the Database Log Path (newlogpath)
• Next Active Log (nextactive)
• Log Head Identification (loghead)
• Number of Commits to Group (mincommit)
• Recovery Range and Soft Checkpoint Interval (softmax)
• Log Retain Enable (logretain)
• User Exit Enable (userexit)
