To grant additional table privileges or change Grant
options individually:
- Select the table or tables on which you want to grant privileges or change
the Grant option.
- In one or more of the Privileges boxes, select either of these
settings:
- Yes
- If the box initially said No, then Yes grants the
privilege without the Grant option (the right to grant this privilege to
others). If the box initially said Grant, then
Yes revokes the privilege and re-grants it without the Grant
option.
As a sign that the grant is pending, a check mark framed by corner brackets
appears in the column for this privilege to the right of each selected
table. For example, if you select TABLE1 and specify Yes in
the SELECT box, a check mark framed by corner brackets appears in
the SELECT column to the right of TABLE1.
- Grant
- If the box initially said No, then Grant grants the
privilege with the Grant option (not available in the CONTROL
box). If the box initially said Yes, then Grant
retains the privilege and adds the Grant option.
As a sign that the grant is pending, a double check mark framed by corner
brackets appears in the column for this privilege to the right of each
selected table. For example, if you select TABLE2 and specify
Grant in the INSERT box, a double check mark framed by
corner brackets appears in the INSERT column to the right of
TABLE2.
The Privileges boxes are:
- Click on Apply. As a sign that the privileges have been
granted, the corner brackets disappear, leaving the check marks and double
check marks unframed.
