Select one of the following radio buttons to specify
whether the create database operation is to be done online or offline.
| Note: | When you create a database from a backup image, the operation is always
offline because the database is not yet available for any other user to
connect to it.

- Online
- The create database operation occurs online (that is, other applications
and users can be connected to the database when the operation is in
progress).
- Offline
- The restore database operation occurs offline (that is, no other
application or user can be connected to the database when the operation is in
progress). This is the default.
