Leave in roll-forward pending state

Click on this check box to leave the database in the roll-forward pending state at the end of the create database operation. This is the default because it allows you to roll forward more changes after the create database operation completes.

A database in the roll-forward pending state cannot be used. To turn the roll-forward pending state off and make the database usable, you can:

• Perform roll-forward recovery on it. You can perform roll-forward recovery on the database from either the Roll-Forward page of the Create from Backup notebook, or from the Roll-Forward Database notebook.

• Select Stop Roll-Forward from the pop-up menu for the database.

  Note:

  You cannot select Stop Roll-Forward if a roll-forward operation is in progress on the database.
