Viewing function statistics

Use the Function Statistics window to view statistics for a built-in or user defined function that is associated with the explained SQL statement.

Before you begin...

To view function statistics:

1. Create an access plan using the Command Center.

2. Do one of the following:

   • Select Access plan->Statement->Show statistics->Functions.

   • Deselect all nodes in the graph. Click mouse button 2 on the graph background and select Access plan->Show statistics->Functions from the pop-up menu.

   The Functions window opens.

3. Select one or more entries and click on OK. A Function Statistics window opens for each function that is selected.

4. Press F1 or click on the Help push button for instructions on how to use this window.
