Viewing optimized text for an SQL statement

Use the Optimized SQL Text window to view the text for an explained SQL statement that was rewritten by the optimizer.

Before you begin...

To view optimized text for an SQL statement:

1. Create an access plan using the Command Center.

2. If SQL statements exist, do one of the following:

   • Select Access plan->Statement->Show optimized SQL text.

   • Deselect all nodes in the graph. Click mouse button 2 on the graph background and select Show optimized SQL text from the pop-up menu.

   The Optimized SQL Text window opens.

3. Press F1 or click on the Help push button for instructions on how to use this window.
