They were produced on an RS/6000 SP machine with 7 physical nodes using inter-partition parallelism. Start
with Query 1 and work through the examples in sequence. A discussion at
the beginning of each example highlights what has changed from the previous
example. You can also follow along
interactively using the sample snapshots provided.
