Use the Roll-Forward notebook page of the restore
notebook to perform roll-forward recovery on the
table space or table space partition as part of
the restore operation.
Notes:
- You must have the database logs to perform roll-forward recovery, and the
backup image that you use for the restore operation must have been made when
the database or database partition was enabled
for forward recovery (that is, either the logretain or the
userexit parameter was set on when the backup image was
created).

If, in the partitioned database environment, some database
partitions are in the roll-forward pending state, and, on other database
partitions, some table space partitions are in the roll-forward pending state
(but the database partition is not), you must first roll forward the database
partitions, then roll forward the table space partitions.
