How to use the DB2 Universal Database help

Use the following methods to find information:

If you don't know where to start, you can:

Select a task from the Information Center .
Search for a topic using the Find or Search facility. Narrow down the results of your search by specifying an action, such as create, or an object, such as database.
Choose a topic from the index or table of contents.

To get help for the current window, press F1.

The following information is available if you press F1:

Task steps, including how to Open the selected window.
Choose from a list of tasks if more than one can be performed from the window.
Control help. To see information about the controls for the current window or notebook page, select the icon.
(NOTE: on OS/2, you must double-click on the icon).
Notebook overview. A notebook is a window that has multiple pages. To see a list of all of the tasks you can perform using a notebook, or to see the list of controls for a notebook page, select the icon.
(NOTE: on OS/2, you must double-click on the icon).
Prerequisite information. To see any prerequisite information for the current task, select Before you begin... which appears above the task steps.
